Through the warm summer months in the Mediterranean, discover the enchanted, sun-drenched flowery scent of its white-yellow buds, with fresh accents of honey and hay. Simple joy, infinite sweetness, innocent luxury. It’s the feeling of resting in its shade, listening to its rustle, breathing in the scent of early summer. Elegant and majestic, you never stop contemplating it.
Curiosity: it owes its name to the nymph Philyra, transformed by her titan lover Cronus into the first Linden Tree; the nymph already carried within her the spirit of the Linden Tree, as indicated by her Greek name: philos “friend” and yron “swarm” with the meaning of “tree loved by bees”. Everything in this beautiful tree is useful, we drink the infusion of its flowers, we eat the honey produced with its nectar, its bark is worked to make canvases, ropes and hats.
