One of the most exciting moments in this new stage of my life
has been discovering that art is a powerful source of
inspiration for producing olfactory images from an original
perspective. Mariposa is the Alexander Calder mobile
sculpture that greets you in Stanley Marcus extraordinary
collection in his fashion house. Mariposa, which floats in the
air, has been my inspiration in producing an allegory of
exclusivity, a value that only art can faithfully represent.
Mariposa, the legend:
From the start, Mariposa expresses a happy and striking
attitude with a colorful pattern punctuated by sparkling
notes of yuzu, grapefruit and orange which give it its magic
energy. Always resplendent with a velvety light, of peach,
apricot and raspberry which ensures that its always the
centre of attention and of everyones gaze.
With a libidinous and floral fullness, it poses among exuberant
petals of tuberose and osmanthus, with the elegance of rose
and jasmine and the romance of lily of the valley and
gardenia, the passion of carnation sublimating the nectar of
its pheromonic fragrances to magnify the myth of seduction.
Displaying its graceful majesty, enveloped in noble amber, in
a pure and transparent milieu, dominated by a sea breeze of
fruity ozone ions. But it is in its balanced calm, in the shade
of a leafy fig tree between cedar and sandalwood, when, in
its depths, it deploys definitively its true free spirit and
strength rooted in the incomparable elegance of iris.
Pure Mariposa is my way of making elegance and balance
memorable. It’s also my way of interpreting, in a pure state,
The value of exclusivity: a feeling of uniqueness through art.
